I treaded this morning. Jumped in the tepid aqua water at the Matt Dishman Rec Center. I bobbed in place for an hour with two friends, each of us with a brown-haired up-do and sleepy eyes. When excited we manage to raise ourselves up out of the water by just a bit, only to lose ground and sink to our chins. Laughter is the enemy of treading water. But laughing is all I seem to do nowadays. There are blessings being bestowed this winter. Catch yours, it's coming.
